Natalie's water broke at 10:45 on Saturday night (right after we finished a game of Settlers at the Priola's-Amanda Caldwell won by sneak attack) and we made it to the hospital 11:30. By 1:30 doctor Freeman decided that it was time to perform an emergency C section. Natalie was losing a lot of blood (she had a placenta abruption) and baby had a strong heartbeat but was not making any movements.
Baby is doing great and Mom is doing very well (she is such a trooper). Callie allowed us to sleep pretty well last night so we are both in good spirits!
I'm home from the hospital for a couple of hours to take a shower and put on some new clothes (and do a blog post). Natalie will most likely be released tomorrow if all goes as planned (she is doing awesome). I'll post a video as soon as we are home and settled.
